Obverse: åhe BNB logo and the year “1879” on the strip, inscriptions “ÁÚËÃÀÐÑÊÀ ÍÀÐÎÄÍÀ ÁÀÍÊÀ” (BULGARIAN NATIONAL BANK), ”10 ËÅÂÀ” (10 LEVS) and “2008” on the outer ring.
Reverse: a Bulgarian volunteer and a Russian soldier from the Shipka pick monument and the year “1878”; an inscription „130 ÃÎÄÈÍÈ ÎÒ ÎÑÂÎÁÎÆÄÅÍÈÅÒΔ (130 YEARS FROM THE LIBERATION) on the outer ring and a wreath an inscription „ÂÅ×ÍÀ ÑËÀÂÀ ÍÀ ÃÅÐÎÈÒÅ” (Eternal glory to the heroes) on the strip.
