Description of obverse and reverse
Commemorative bicolor (composite) coin is made with the usage of tantalum — a metal which is widely used in the aerospace industry.
Obverse: in the center is a man and the universe in the background, on the right of the man there is “500 Òåңãå” legend meaning the face value, “Ag 925 14,6 gr Òà 26,8 gr” legend meaning the coin metal and its grave under the face value, on a circumference there is “Қàçàқñòàí Ðåñïóáëèêàñû — Republic of Kazakhstan” legend.
Reverse: there is a spaceship “Vostok” on star-studded and the Earth background. In the bottom there is “Space” legend and “1961” legend meaning the year of shooting the first manned shaceship. “Âîñòîê» ғàðûø êåìåñ³ — Space Ship «Vostok» legend is on the circumference. “2008” legend meaning engraved year is in the bottom part of the coin. Prominent binding is on the circumference.
