Description of obverse and reverse
On the obverse of the coin there is the Small National Emblem of Ukraine (on the top) with a semicircular inscription “ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ» (National Bank of Ukraine), the coins composition – locally gilded zlatnyk (gold weight in fineness 0,0004 g) and and sriblianyky (on the right), a part of the ancient Kyiv reconstruction model (on the left), under which the metal designation and its alloy, weight in fineness, the coin face value, the coin issue year and the logotype of the Mint.
A scene of mintage is depicted on the reverse and the inscription is placed “ÒÈÑß×Î˲ÒÒß ÌÎÍÅÒÍÎÃÎ ÊÀÐÁÓÂÀÍÍß Ó ÊȪ²” (Millennium of coin mintage in Kyiv).
