Description of obverse and reverse

St. Casimir on the reverse of the coin is semi-circled by the inscriptions 1458–1484 and ЉV. KAZIMIERAS (St. Casimir).
The stylized national emblem of the beginning of the XVI century inside a shield is depicted on the obverse of the coin. The inscriptions LIETUVA, 2008, 50 LITŘ and the sign of the Lithuanian Mint are depicted around.
The edge of the coin is smooth.
