Description of obverse and reverse

Obverse:in the centre there is the emblem of the Bank of Russia (double-headed eagle with the spread wings), below which is the semicircular inscription “ÁÀÍÊ ÐÎÑÑÈÈ”(Bank of Russia), framed with a circle of small dots and inscriptions along the rim: on the top it reads: “ÄÂÀ ÐÓÁËß” (Two roubles), at the bottom: on the left: the metal’s designation and its alloy ,in the centre: the issue date “2008 “, on the right: the chemically pure metal content and the trade mark of the mint.
Reverse: On the left there is a D.F. Oystrach’s portrait with a violin in his hands, on the top on the mirror ground there is facsimile of the violinist’s signature “ÄÀÂÈÄ ÎÉÑÒÐÀÕ” (David Oistrach) in two lines and the dates “1908-1974”.
