Obverse:in the centre there is the emblem of the Bank of Russia (double-headed eagle with the spread wings), below which is the semicircular inscription “ÁÀÍÊ ÐÎÑÑÈÈ”(Bank of Russia), framed with a circle of small dots and inscriptions along the rim: on the top it reads: “ÒÐÈ ÐÓÁËß” (Three roubles), at the bottom: “2008”, on the left: the metal’s designation and its alloy, on the right: the chemically pure metal content and the trade mark of the mint.
