Description of obverse and reverse
Obverse: in the centre of the disc there is a portrait of the Queen of England Elizabeth II, along the edge there are inscriptions: on the left — «ELIZABETH II», on the right — «COOK ISLANDS», at the bottom the nominal value «5 DOLLARS».
Reverse: in the centre of the disc there is an image of the baptism ceremony of the Kyiv citizens in the Dnieper waters, in the centre of the composition there is the Prince Vladimir with his brigade, to the right from Vladimir there are Byzantine priests, on the foreground there is a boy with an icon, on the right there are images of people submerging into the water, on the top there is an inscription along the edge: «120-ëåòèå êðåùåíèÿ Ðóñè» (120 Anniversary of the Epiphany of Russia), at the bottom is the mintage year «2008».
