Description of obverse and reverse
Obverse: the sea wave and a seagull, on the top there is a the Small National Emblem of Ukraine and a semicircular inscription “ÍÀÖ²ÎÍÀËÜÍÈÉ ÁÀÍÊ ÓÊÐÀ¯ÍÈ» (National Bank of Ukraine), the inscriptions are placed: “50”, “ÃÐÈÂÅÍÜ”, “2008” (50/Hryvnia/2008), and also the metal designation, its alloy , weight in fineness – “15,55”, and the logotype of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
On the coin’s reverse on the background of the mountain and the sea there is an architectural monument – the Swallow’s nest on the rock and the inscription is placed on the left – “ËÀÑÒ²Â×ÈÍÅ ÃͲÇÄλ (The Swallow’s nest).
