Description of obverse and reverse

Obverse: in the centre there is the emblem of the Bank of Russia, framed with a circle of small dots and inscriptions along the rim: “ÒÐÈ ÐÓÁËß” (Three roubles), the metal’s designation, its alloy, the issue date “2008 “, the chemically pure metal content and the trade mark of the mint.
Reverse: in the center there is a matted image of the post envelope corner with three stamps placed in two rows. One of them located on the right bottom is made as a golden insert, in its upper part there are two inscriptions: on the left - “Au 99,9”, on the right - “1,55”. Two other stamps are designed with the undertone. On one of them at the bottom on the left there is an inscription with the undertone in two lines:”ÎÂÐÓ×Ú ÀÏÐ ÄÍß 1858”. On the top there is an inscription in four lines “150-ËÅÒÈÅ ÏÅÐÂÎÉ ÐÎÑÑÈÉÑÊÎÉ ÏÎ×ÒÎÂÎÉ ÌÀÐÊÈ” (The 150th Anniversary of the first Russian post stamp), at the bottom there is a pen with a steel stylus.
