Description of obverse and reverse

Obverse: In the centre – a stylized image of the cover of the album entitled “Katharsis”, featuring the crying woman who buried face in her hands. At the top – a visible inscription on the album cover: “N.AE./ KATHARSIS”. On the left side – a perpendicular inscription: “HISTORIA POLSKIEJ” (History of Polish), against the album cover. At the bottom – an inscription: “MUZYKI ROZRYWKOWEJ” (Light Music), against the album cover.
Reverse: At the bottom, on the right side – an image of the Eagle, established as the State Emblem of the Republic of Poland. At the top, on the right side – a year of issue (2009). In the centre – an image of a portrait of Czesław Niemen. On the left side – a perpendicular inscription: “NIEMEN/CZESŁAW”. Next to it – a word of “RZECZPOSPOLITA” (Republic), inscribed perpendicularly in an opposite direction. At the bottom, on the left side – an inscription: “POLSKA 10 ZŁ” (Poland 10 zloty). Under the Eagle’s left leg – the Mint’s mark (M/W).
