Description of obverse and reverse

The obverse of the coin features the 17th century national coat of arms in the background of a shield. It is semi-circled by the inscriptions LIETUVA (Lithuania), 50 LITŲ (50 litas) and 2009, as well as the mark of the Lithuanian Mint.
A fragment of the Tytuvėnai architectural ensemble is artistically depicted on the reverse of the coin. It is encircled by the inscription TYTUVĖNAI, ARCHITEKTŪRINIS ANSAMBLIS (Tytuvėnai, architectural ensemble). The edge of the coin bears the inscription ISTORIJOS IR ARCHITEKTŪROS PAMINKLAI (historical and architectural monuments).
