Obverse: in the centre of the disc there is an emblem of the Bank of Russia (double-headed eagle with the dropping wings), below which is the cemicircular inscription "ÁÀÍÊ ÐÎÑÑÈÈ" (“Bank of Russia), framed with a circle made of dots and the inscriptions on circumference – above - "ÄÂÀÄÖÀÒÜ ÏßÒÜ ÒÛÑß× ÐÓÁËÅÉ" ("Twenty-five thousand roubles"), under the emblem there is the date of issue "2009 ", below on the background of the guilloche elements there are images of banknotes and coins, on the left the metal and the alloy and the mintmark ,–on the right – the content of chemically pure metal and the serial number of coin .
